At tech Plus Forum held in Seoul from Nov. 7 to 9, Matt Mills, an inventor of global phenomenon Aurasma AR app, made a demo how his AR app Aurasma works in sync with his iPhone’s built-in camera to breathe virtual life into dead objects like portraits or pictures.
He is head of global marketing of Aurasma.
During his demo, he scanned a portrait of Robert Burns, a Scottish poet of the 17th century, with his iPhone, which is connected to a projector on a table.
Immediately afterwards, the Aurasma app on his iPhone worked a magic putting the deceased Roberts Burns to virtual life projecting his virtual moving image launching into a speech of some verses of his poem on a big screen behind.
