(iTers News) - Fortemedia Inc., the leader in voice processing technology, and Realtek, one of the world's leading IC providers, today announced that they have partnered to bringing Fortemedia's leading iS6xx voice processing solution to Realtek's ALC567xfamily of Codec plus DSP SoC solutions.


Integrating the iS6xx into Realtek's ALC567x family of Codec plus DSP SoC solutions brings enhanced voice processing capabilities at a moderate consumer cost point, while delivering superior voice experiences in applications such as mobile handsets, tablets, ultrabooks and PC's.


Fortemedia's solutions are specifically designed to deliver higher performance industry requirements, eliminating the need for custom and dedicated application processors. This reduces cost and also results in PCB real estate savings, further simplifying system design. Utilizing Fortemedia's efficient algorithms and scalable multi-microphone technology, users now benefit by having superior, natural and easily understood speech with their devices, regardless of their surrounding environment.
