(iTers News) – Scheduled for the year-end roll-out in the U.S. market, LG’s Optimus G quad-core smart phone has already become an overwhelming hit in Korea.

Built with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the Optimus G stands out from competition in life-like picture quality, long-lasting battery life, and easy-to-use and intuitive user experience, or UX .

One key highlight of its UX is QSlide function that shows two different screen images simultaneously, enabling users to pop up two apps, or do two tasks on two overlapping screens at the same time.

For example, while you are watching a video clip, you don’t need to push a home button to get back a main menu to take an incoming message. Just tap into a message box, and you can immediately open the message box to see the incoming message, while continuing to watch your video clip.

Live zooming is another eye-catching UX, enabling users to zoom in up to five times while the video is being streamed for a close-up of one’s child while watching a recorded video from a school recital

Other features include dual screen dual play and QuickMemo functionalities.

Dual screen dual play function allows users to mirror smartphones contents into wide and large screen TVs using wireless technology.

QuickMemo is a functionality that allows users to write, draw, or jot a memo with their finger directly on the captured screen for sharing instantly with others as an attachment or a URL. The QuickMemo can also be used as an overlay feature - like jotting down a number using the QuickMemo and directly dialing the number while the number is on the top layer.
