(iTers News) - ARBOR Technology has signed a strategic alliance with MediaTek to release its new Gladius IoT Handheld Computers in early January 2014. In response to the development of Smart City and 4G high-speed internet, the demands for industrial mobile devices tend to be more robust and sensitive, also require a more user-friendly interface and industry-specific applications.


 ARBOR Gladius IoT Handheld Computers is powered by MediaTeK quad-core CPU, running  on Android OS. Gladius series are perfectly designed for a wide range of industries, such as medical, transportation, mPOS, fleet management, warehousing as well as O2O applications.



After the technology study on each other for last 10 years, the two companies decided to leverage their complementary competencies and speed up the time to market through collaboration. Under the basis of cooperation and strong partnership, ARBOR and MediaTek have formed a new joint venture company—AMobile Intelligent Corp. to fulfill a total solution via combining with relative vertical applications, including telecommunication, SI, and APP developers and further to meet the needs driven from Smart City.
