(iTers News) - LG Electronics has taken wraps off an update version of its flagship smartphone V30, at Mobile World Congress or MWC 2018.

Dubbed as V30S ThinQ, the updated V30 smartphone comes embedded with a built-in AI or artificial intelligence technology, enabling users to more intelligently play with their smart phones


For example, users can activate ‘Q lens’ app to automatically scan QR codes and offer shopping results based on the pictures they take exploiting a built-in AI technology.


It also has bright mode that helps take the best picture even when the light environment is dark or dim, as the AI app allow it to  recognize the scene or objects that users plan to take, then suggest the best mode and adjust the camera to take the best picture.


Meanwhile, it will also come built with worldwide language version of Google’s AI platform Google Assistant, a voice-recognition AI assistant solution.


First introduced in the second half of 2017, the original version of the V30 came just built with Korean language version alone of Google Assistant, allowing Korean smart phone users alone to control it with a command of voice.


It comes in a 6.0-inch P-OLED display, powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset.


It features a dual-camera system of 16 MP and 13 MP rear-facing cameras and a 5 MP front-facing camera, 3300mAh battery, 128 GB or 256 GB storage, 6GB RAM, MIL-STD-810G compliant, Corning Gorilla Glass 5.


The new smartphone V30S ThinkQ will go on sales from March 9th  in Korea and U.S.
